New Eurofarad Plastic Film Cap
EUROFARAD is extremely proud to include a new component in its family of capacitors for high frequency switch mode power supplies, the PM06. With values up to 220MF / 50V for example, this component is definitely at the top of the technology of film capacitors.



The PM06 features the remarkable characteristics of the range of EUROFARAD film capacitors for switch mode power supplies.



In operation:

- self healing: possibility to withstand some accidental peak of voltages;

- low ESR and inductance;

- wide range of operating frequencies;

- high RMS current and voltage gradient;

- high stability of the value of the capacitance versus temperature change (range of temperature is -65/+125°C);

- value of the capacitance does not change versus applied voltage;



From the design point of view:

- component is not polarized;

- light weight;

- small size;

- resistance to harsh environment.

COGITOBIO computer engineers are developing 3D models used for the “Digital Human”.


Cogitobio is a French company that is bringing about a revolution in transportation passenger comfort. For the first time, the living human body is being digitally modeled to enable designers to evaluate seating designs for comfort bringing mathematical rigor to a previously entirely empirical and subjective analysis. Under contract from the SNCF, Cogitobio designed the interior of the the latest generation TGV in conjunction with the recommend fashion designer Christian Lacroix. Cogitobio has selected Allied International because of our experience in both the rail and the aerospace markets and because of our focus on noise attenuation which is also a important comfort consideration.

JAMES STALEY MANUFACTURING Carmel, NY, manufacturer of test benches for overhaul of aircraft fuel, pneumatic and hydraulic components has appointed Allied International as European Sales Represntatives. Electro Preci
Another cutting edge A380 electronic component manufacturer has chosen Allied to distribute their products in the USA. Based in Cannes Ecluse France, Electro Preci specializes in custom inductors, filters, coils, windings, resitors, and chokes for the aerospace/defense industry. IS9001 approved, Electro Preci is responsible for the electrical as well as the mechanical design to meet their customer requirements. A recent design featured 0.1 mm thick aluminum tape wound core with copper leads. The technology offers the designer the benfit of considerable weight saving. The CTC21 is a low ESR solid tantalum SMD capacitor exclusively manufactured by Firadec and distributed by Allied International. Applications include input and output filtering for power supplies on Airbus Aircraft. Samples and specifications available from Allied.

Allied's new lightweight 30 Rayl fiber metal acoustic media AIC-8 is now being used on the Embraer ERJ-170 aircraft as a face sheet in a composite structure. Allied's new high temperature 35 Rayl fiber metal AIC-13 is currently undergoing trials as a helicopter turbine exhaust acoustic media.

Tantalum Capacitor The Firadec CTC 21 Tantalum Capacitor was approved by a major US defense contractor for space use based on its European Space Agency ESA approval. Firadec is part of the Eurofarad Group represented in the USA by Allied International.
