GSE OPPORTUNITY Market in Thailand
THAI presently provides passenger and cargo services to its own fleet and 57 international
airlines that fly to Bangkok International Airport. THAI accounts for 75 percent of the total
market demand.
THAI presently employed the following ground support equipment: 22 units of aircraft towing
tractors (3 Pay Mover/16 Schopf/2 Shinko); 20 Air-Conditioning Units (9 ACE/11 Air-A-Plan);

(25 Hobart/3 Stewart & Stevenson/4 ACE/3 Auto Die); 5 units of Main Deck Loaders (3 FMC/2

According to industry sources, THAI has a yearly budget of about $48 million for purchasing of
new ground passenger and cargo services equipment and replacement parts, of which $32 million
is spent on passenger service equipment and the rest on cargo handling facilities.
